This is information about Per Enflo, a mathematician. In 1936, a mathematician named Stanisław Mazur posed a math problem in functional analysis and offered a reward of a live goose to the person who solved it. Decades later, Per Enflo constructed a mathematical space that solved the problem, and in 1972 Stanisław Mazur gave Per Enflo a live goose as promised.
